Rapid Transformational Therapy

    about me

    Hi, I’m Lynda…

I’m Lynda Duffy, an RTT Therapist, Certified Hypnotherapist and Mindset Coach based in Galway, Ireland.

I help people understand and change the thoughts, beliefs and patterns that affect how they feel and behave. Using a combination of psychotherapy, hypnosis and practical techniques, I work with you to get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck, rather than simply trying to manage the symptoms.

My aim is to help you feel better, think differently and make changes that last.

    How I Can Help

I work with adults and teenagers experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, addiction, smoking, weight concerns, emotional eating, body image issues, low self-esteem, feeling lost, grief, confidence issues, overthinking, relationship patterns, fears and the feeling that they’re simply not good enough — as well as many other challenges.

My approach is personal, practical and non-judgemental. I help you understand what’s really going on underneath the problem, so you can break old patterns, feel differently about yourself and make lasting changes.

    Why I Became a Therapist

My own experience is a big part of why I do what I do.

I struggled with binge and emotional eating for 22 years. After having a 90-minute RTT session that completely changed my relationship with food and myself, I experienced first-hand how powerful it can be to understand where a problem comes from and change the beliefs and patterns behind it.

That experience inspired me to train as an RTT Therapist so I could help other people understand and overcome the patterns that may be keeping them stuck too.

I’ve worked with people from many different backgrounds, helping them through some of the most difficult and overwhelming periods of their lives. I understand that asking for help isn’t always easy, and I believe you should feel comfortable, heard and supported when you do.

    My Experience

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 10 years working in recruitment across Ireland, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, working closely with everyone from graduates to CEOs.

I’m also a former Miss Ireland, which gave me first-hand experience of the pressures that can come with appearance, body confidence, comparison and feeling judged by others.

These experiences have given me a genuine understanding of how different life experiences can affect confidence, self-esteem and how we see ourselves.

    My Approach

I believe therapy should feel comfortable, honest and free from judgement.

I create a warm, down-to-earth space where you can be yourself, talk openly and feel genuinely heard and understood.

My approach is practical and focused on helping you understand what you’re experiencing, while giving you the tools and support you need to move forward with greater confidence and self-belief.

Whether you’re struggling with something you’ve dealt with for years or you’re simply feeling stuck and don’t know how to move forward, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
